Linda McMahon, former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, said she discussed the Small Business Administration with President-elect Trump during a meeting with him Wednesday at Trump Tower.

"The meeting went great. It was really nice to be up and I was honored to be asked to come in," McMahon told reporters as she left the Manhattan skyscraper Wednesday afternoon.

"Any time I think the president-elect of the United States asks you to come in for a conversation, you're happy to do that," she added. "We talked about business and entrepreneurs and creating jobs and we talked about SBA. We had a really good conversation."

McMahon twice ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010 and 2012.

She donated generously to a political action committee supporting Trump during the presidential race. Although she criticized some of his comments during the Republican primary, she praised him during the general election.

McMahon, known for the professional wrestling phenomenon she built with her husband, declined to answer questions about whether she would join the incoming Trump administration.

"That remains to be seen," she said on Wednesday. "Stay tuned."
