WWE drops hints Hulk Hogan's N-word banishment could end - New York Post

WWE mentioned the name Hulk Hogan during their Roadblock: End Of The Line event Sunday night – sending speculation running wild that he could be returning to the company.

The most famous wrestler of all time had been erased from WWE history after audio had emerged of him using racial slurs in connection to his sex-tape lawsuit.

The Hall Of Famer’s profile was deleted from WWE.com, and his merchandise was removed from the WWE’s official web store.

Significantly, on the Roadblock event, WWE commentator Michael Cole name-dropped Hulk Hogan while Charlotte made her way to the ring ahead of her Raw Women’s title victory over Sasha Banks in a 30-minute Iron Man match.

As Charlotte made her way down the aisle, Cole said: “14-0 in her career in singles pay-per-view matches. She is 17-2 all-time in pay-per-views, and regardless of what happens tonight, Charlotte will have the best start ever in any career in her first 20 pay-per-view matches. Better than the likes of Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar and even The Undertaker.

This builds on the fact that a clip of Hogan’s voice recently was used on an advertisement that is featured on the WWE Network, and on-screen Smackdown general manager Shane McMahon also recently said his name on his WWE Podcast on the Network.

The man with the “24 inch pythons” successfully won a lawsuit against Gawker, who produced the sex tape that included his racist comments, in March.
