Dallas Cowboys add WWE's Sting to coaching staff - UPI.com

ARLINGTON, Texas, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- If a punishing offensive line and plethora of speedy skill players weren't enough, opponents have another reason to fear the Dallas Cowboys.

On Tuesday, the Cowboys brought in WWE's Sting as its 'Intimidation Coach.'

In a video posted on the Cowboys' official website, Sting walks into the team's 'The Star' facility in Frisco with a baseball bat, while wearing his trademark all-black get-up and white painted face. He walks through the team's offices and hits a copy machine with his bat, before prepping some French vanilla coffee.

"I retired earlier this year and kind of laying low and not a whole lot going on," Sting says in the video. Boredom sets in and I'm a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and I heard they were looking for an intimidation coach, so shot in the dark, I know, but I applied for the job and I got it."

Sting also talks to several Cowboys players, including Dez Bryant and Ezekiel Elliott, before getting on Jason Witten for not wearing face paint like his teammates.

The Cowboys host the Detroit Lions at 8:30 p.m. on Monday Night Football at AT&T Stadium. Sting, a WWE Hall of Famer, retired in April.
