Former WWE wrestler takes down would-be robber in Florida - KABC-TV

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (KABC) --

A would-be robber in Florida learned the hard way that you shouldn't mess with a former pro wrestler.

Shad "The Beast' Gaspard was at a gas station when a suspect tried to rob him at gunpoint, but the former WWE star wasn't having it. He lunged at the suspect, took the gun and wrestled the man to the floor.

Gaspard then got the suspect outside, threw him on the ground one more time and held him down until police arrived and made an arrest.

The weapon turned out to be a BB gun but Gaspard said he didn't know that at the time.
