This robber wanted beer, but instead he got body-slammed by a former WWE wrestler.
The Miami Herald reports Shad Gaspard, who once was part of the tag team Cryme Tyme, was at the cooler at a Coral Springs gas station Saturday when Jason Felix approached.
Gaspard, who once was a bodyguard for celebrities such as Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and Britney Spears, told WSVN he was at the store to buy iced tea when Felix approached him and asked for Gaspard to buy him a beer.
“This guy comes from the back of the store, and he goes, ‘Yo, man, buy me a beer,’ and I’m like, you know, I didn’t know the guy,” Gaspard told WSVN. “And I’m like, ‘Yo, man, there’s a better way to approach somebody.'”

That’s when the 6-foot-7 Gaspard made quick work of disarming Felix.
Surveillance video from the convenience store shows the former WWE wrestler hover over Felix before grabbing his neck and ramming him out the door into the parking lot. Gaspard told WSVN he aggressively slammed Felix into the door because he was “trying to knock him out.”
Gaspard’s WWE background took over once the two were in the parking lot.
He put Felix in a rear choke hold before tossing the suspect over his shoulder in what appeared to be a modified choke slam. Gaspard pinned the suspect to the ground and waited for police to arrive.
While holding the suspect on the ground, Gaspard searched him and found the gun. He told TMZ Sports he realized the gun wasn’t an actual gun because while he was squeezing the handle, the gun broke.
“When I looked at it, I saw a silver casing,” Gaspard said. “I was like, ‘Oh, it’s an airsoft gun.'”
Felix was charged with robbery and held on $10,000 bond.
