WWE Network News reports that WWE has purchased part of the tape library for the Heartland Wrestling Association. The former WWE developmental territory was ran by Les Thatcher, who worked with WWE to secure the library.
Thatcher told WWE Network News that WWE purchased all footage from 2001 and 2002 - a total of 48 shows that feature such talents as John Cena, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, Charlie Haas, Raven, Shark Boy, 3 Count and others.No word yet on when we might start seeing HWA footage on the WWE Network but we will keep you updated.
